WHAT IS THE CONDITION OF THE ITEMS ?

HOW DO YOU ESTABLISH A PRICE FOR THE BOOKS ?
For books that are still in-print we will price the book at the publisher's recommended retail price or lower.
For books that are out-of-print the price will reflect a fair market value and will be based on such factors as scarcity, condition, desirability, subject-matter and quality.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO PICK UP AN ORDER IN PERSON?
ON PAPER is an online store, so it's not possible to pick up your order at our office.
However, we travel very often and so you can try to contact us to evaluate a possible hand-to-hand delivery of your order.
We generally schedule appointments in Milan and London at least once a month.
HOW DO I KNOW IF AN ITEM IS IN STOCK ?
All items are in stock unless "Sold Out" is displayed.
Please be aware that even if an item is in your shopping cart, it can still be bought by another customer.
Only once you have completed the order is the item yours.
When we participate in exhibitions and fairs, items can be sold instantly and subsequently stock-availability updates may be slightly delayed.
If the product you want to buy is out of stock, add it to your Wish List so you may save and view it at any time. You will be notified once it is back in stock.
HOW DO I REQUEST AN INVOICE?
If you would like to receive the invoice it is necessary to inform us in advance your company name and VAT number.
WHICH PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?
We accept various payment methods such as:
-PayPal: selecting this payment method you will be redirected to the secure Paypal gateway where you can choose to pay via your account (if you are already registered with Paypal) or without registration to provide your credit card information.
For this payment general PayPal security terms apply.
-Bank transfer in EURO (contact us to our e-mail and we'll give you the details).
-Cash if item is collected.
IS REGISTRATION MANDATORY?
No, you can still use our site, and then make a purchase without any registration as a guest.
However registration gives certain advantages such as automatic completion of the purchase form, store order history, wish list and subscription to our newsletter.
You can also place an order directly via e-mail and we will give you the necessary payment information.
DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY ?
HOW ARE THE ORDERS SENT AND WHEN WILL THEY ARRIVE ?
We use a number of trusted shipping carriers, including Dpd, Ups and Dhl.
Express and Priority services will take between 1-3 business days within the Italy, 2-5 business days to Europe and 2-7 business days to all other countries.
Standard Economy service (International registered mail) with Poste Italiane will take 5-10 business days within Europe and 8 -15 business days to all other countries.
HOW DO YOU PACKAGE THE BOOKS ?
We ship all orders received with extreme care.
Books and periodicals will be wrapped with brown paper or put into an archival plastic envelope and then protected by shock-absorbing bubble-wrap packaging.
All will be shipped in a suitable well-cushioned cardboard box.
IS MY PARCEL TRACKABLE ?
Express and Priority services are fully trackable and require a signature at the destination address.
Standard Economy services with Italian Post service (Poste Italiane) have limited trackability, but you can always follow the shipment through the Postal service website.
I NEED THE BOOKS QUICKER, CAN YOU SHIP MY ORDER USING ANOTHER SERVICE ?
If it is possible we are happy to send your parcel on a quicker service if you need it by a specific time.
We can arrange shipping with the major carriers and couriers.
We can also ship on your own account.

HOW DO YOU CALCULATE SHIPPING CHARGES?
Shipping charges are based on the weight of each book and its packaging.
MY PARCEL HAS NOT YET ARRIVED. WHAT SHOULD I DO ?
In the unlikely event that the estimated delivery time has elapsed please contact us and we will inform you of its status.
CAN I RETURN MY PURCHASE IF I AM NOT HAPPY WITH IT ?
We meticulously describe the condition of our items in order to avoid this but if you feel an item is not as described in our description (i.e. the edition is wrong or an obvious flaw has not been mentioned) or if for any other reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return it providing a written notification by email of your intention within 10 days of receipt.
All we ask is that you return any books by the same or similar method of shipping by which they were sent.
Shipping charges of returns are at your expense as are possible custom duties.
Return postage will only be refunded if the book has been returned because it was wrongly described.
Please note that you are responsible for the care of the item until it has reached us.
Make sure to wrap the items adequately to avoid damage in transit.

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF MY ORDER ARRIVES DAMAGED?

I HAVE ORDERED A BOOK BUT HAVE CHANGED MY MIND. CAN I CANCEL THE ORDER ?
Yes, please contact us immediately with the details and your payment will be refunded and the order cancelled only.
If the item has already been shipped then will the normal returns procedure apply.
I CAN'T COMPLETE THE ORDER. WHATS THE PROBLEM ?
