Commissioned project born from the collaboration between Andrea Botto and Francesco Zanot, respectively director and curator of the annual Rapallo Photography festival, who gave Takashi Homma the task of working on the theme of memory through personal archives around Rapallo, in Liguria. During his residence in the area, fascinated by the images preserved in the archives of Genoa and Rapallo, the Japanese artist explored the need to preserve personal and intimate memories, particularly after a loss. So he portrayed eleven widowed women - witnesses with memories of their dead partners - and captured a glimpse of the places where these widows live.
